Rubber Gloves Manufacturing Plant & Machinery Solutions
Rubber glove manufacturing dips cleaned ceramic formers into coagulant and then into compounded latex, and the deposited film is leached, beaded, vulcanised and surface-treated before the gloves are stripped, dried and leak-tested.
Complete Gloves Process Flow
Curing chemicals and dispersions are blended into the latex and the compound is held under gentle agitation until it is drawn to the line. Steady agitation keeps the dispersion uniform so the deposited film stays even.
Ceramic formers are washed, rinsed and dried before entering the coagulant tank, which prepares the surface for latex pick-up. Any residue left on a former shows as a defect in the finished glove.
Formers pass through the latex tank to build up the film, then through leaching tanks that wash out water-soluble residues, and finally through the curing ovens. Oven and tank heating is carried by the plant hot water, steam and air handling systems.
Gloves are chlorinated or polymer-coated so they can be donned easily, then stripped from the formers and tumble-dried. Chlorination exhaust is scrubbed before release and the working area is kept under extraction.
Gloves are tested for pinholes and checked visually for tears, thin patches and beading faults. Failures are removed from the flow before counting begins.
Gloves are counted into dispenser boxes by size, coded, collated into outers and wrapped for despatch.
