Flour Processing Plant & Machinery Solutions
Flour milling turns wheat, maize and mixed grains into atta, maida, corn flour and multigrain flour. Grain is cleaned, dampened and tempered, then reduced through mills and separated on sifters into flour, semolina and bran fractions before blending and packing.
Complete Flour Mill Process Flow
Grain is tipped, elevated and passed over screens and magnets to take out straw, dust, string and tramp metal before storage. Cleaned grain is held in silos ahead of the mill.
Stones, mud balls and light seeds are removed by density, and the grain surface is scoured to lift dust and loose skin. The dust drawn off here is collected rather than released.
Water is metered onto the clean grain and the grain rests in bins so the moisture works into the bran layer and it peels away cleanly in the mill. Moisture is checked before and after the rest period.
Tempered grain passes through break and reduction rolls, or through a stone or hammer mill on atta and chakki-style lines, and is progressively reduced. Stock is returned for further reduction after each sifting pass.
Milled stock is separated on sifters into flour, semolina, middlings and bran, and light bran is drawn off in the air system. Each fraction returns to the mill or goes to the flour bin.
Flour streams are blended to the grade being sold, and multigrain lines dose and mix the additional grain flours at this point.
Flour is filled by weight into consumer packs or sacks, closed, checked and palletised. A final metal check is made before the pack leaves the line.
